About Us

Our Story

It is a nonprofit organisation and theatre group of young artists performing dramas for the last 10 years in several competitions and festivals at the State, National & International levels. The group has also been organizing theatre workshops regularly.

Since its inception in 2013, the group has been organising an Intensive Theatre Workshop which is conducted by graduates from NSD Delhi for young theatre artists of Nagpur. The group strives its best to contribute to the welfare of the local drama culture.

Theatre Workshops

Our comprehensive acting workshops provide a convergence platform for theatre enthusiasts and live art explorers where expert training is provided by esteemed alumnae of the National School of Drama, New Delhi.

Film Screening & Discussion

It is an innovative initiative undertaken by Meraki Theatre, wherein ‘Film Screening and Discussion’ is conducted. Under this movement, at least 2 films screening and discussion sessions are organised every month. The movement strives to screen contemporary short films and documentaries that were screened at international film festivals but not easily available to watch online.

Our Specialties

Recently the group organised two 12 days production-oriented theatre workshops for children which were conducted by NSD Alumina Mangala Sanap. This activity was run in 6 different NMC schools of Nagpur under the ‘Theatre in Education’ concept. The Dramas during the workshop were produced by the MFA drama postgraduates and performed in “ Shaleya Rangmanch 1, 2 & 3” by the participating students.
